Experienced Town Manager

The Incorporated Town is seeking an experienced strategic/visionary thinker that is organized, has strong leader skills, who can communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the Mayor and Council. The candidate will demonstrate integrity and have the ability to inspire the trust and confidence of Town staff, Mayor and Council, and the community. In addition, the Town desires a proven leader with broad municipal experience who has successfully led others through difficult economic situations. 

Reporting to the Mayor and Town Council, the ideal candidate will have experience and in-depth knowledge of municipal government management, economic development, budgeting and financial administration, revenue enhancements, capital improvement and labor relations. Additionally, the candidate must be able to build successful partnerships both internally and with the community to ensure that the Mayor and Council’s vision is promoted and supported. Candidates must have the capacity and interest to be an effective mentor and leader for staff.
