Linda Monroe, originally from Philadelphia, moved to the Town of Capitol Heights in 1992. She is a well-informed professional having over 30 years of experience with the federal government as a US Marine, a defense security specialist, and now, as a logistics contractor. Her management skills and knowledge of budgeting, personnel, and program development will prove to be valuable to the Town. She has one loving son, a BSU graduate, and despite having a very satisfying career, she remains humble and compassionate toward others.
Ms. Monroe graduated from Hampton University with a BA in Sociology and then went on to earn her MBA from Temple University. She also earned the distinction of Fellow, Academy of Excellence and Local Governance, University of Maryland.
