Have you heard of the Prince George’s County Rain Check Rebate Program?
The Rain Check Rebate Program provides eligible County residents and businesses the opportunity to receive a reimbursement check for installing approved stormwater management practices that may help alleviate property flooding issues, lower water bills, and much more.

Prince George’s County is committed to improving the quality of life for its communities by promoting green solutions to stormwater runoff. Stormwater runoff occurs when rain (or snowmelt) flows over the land picking up pollutants such as oil, grease, sediment, and nutrients that make their way into local streams and rivers.
This program is coordinated by the Chesapeake Bay Trust to offer incentives to homeowners, businesses, and others to install practices that will improve stormwater runoff quality, reduce runoff quantity, and improve local streams and rivers. Homeowners, businesses, and non-for-profit entities (including condominium and civic associations and churches) can recoup some of the costs of installing practices covered by the program.
How much can be awarded and what are the practices?
Up to $4,000 for residential property owners; Up to $20,000 for commercial properties, multi-family dwellings, not-for-profit, and others.
