How may I request an extension for violations cited?: Contact Property Standards Authority at 301-420-3000, between the hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, and provide your name and property address. You will be connected to the appropriate inspector for your home... at time the inspector will consider your request. Extensions are granted on a case - by - case basis.

1. When do I need a permit?: A permit is required when a property owner wants to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, move, improve, remove, connect, demolish or raze any building or structure, change an exit, or alter/install any equipment regulated by Prince George's County Building Code.
